I went and found this over on my old livejournal. I've decided to start working on the list again.  I have read a few of the books since I posted the original list in July 2008, but I'll update it as I go along. "Someone" reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they’ve printed. It's not the Big Read though -- they don't publish books, and they've only featured these books so far.
